Hello, and welcome.
My name is Stuart B, and I’m an occasional writer and lapsed thinker from Manchester, UK.
I am married with 3 kids, 2 of whom are grown up and living their own lives, and a grand-daughter who makes my heart happy and tires the rest of me out.
I work full time, in a job that I really don’t want to talk about – I spend enough time working there, I don’t want to waste my limited spare time discussing it!
(Very) frustrated writer, with a penchant for having a great idea, starting to write that, then having another, better idea and starting to write that, only to have another, even better idea…
Which means, of the many, many projects I’ve started hardly any of them have managed to get anywhere.
But I’m hoping to change all that.
Expect sci-fi silliness, pop culture references, and political opinions, not necessarily all in the same places, as well as some thoughts about life, the universe, and everything.
But probably not the number 42.
Better minds than mine have written about that.
My long-form bletherings will be appearing under the “Writing” tab, with more regular posts in the blog, while this site will also be handling my Social Media.
I post exclusively to The Fediverse, a loose conglomeration of independant, federated servers run by groups and individuals, and can be followed from just about any Fediverse-enabled site at @stuartb .
